Chris Van Reenan: Instructor
Christina Van Reenen has been involved in the fitness industry since 1981 and has a wide range of
experience in fitness training. She has participated in competitive sports including swimming
and diving, representing Alberta in the Canadian and National Open Diving Championships, the
Commonwealth Game Trials and the Pan Am Summer Games. The training she received throughout
her youth, including body awareness, physical endurance and discipline, gave her a strong base for
her continued physical education in the fitness field. Her love of dance and music brought her to
Jazzercise and allowed her to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for physical fitness with her
students. Her classes represent a very diverse group of individuals from those seeking a peak
level of fitness and general well being to individuals healing from injury and hoping to regain
strength and endurance. Fun, music, dance and fitness are intertwined since her mandate is to
keep you coming back to meet your goals. Fitter, faster, stronger…whatever your objective,
Christina will help you get there and support you on your journey. Jazzercise is considered
