Diana Lefebvre: Teacher & Judge
Diana Lefebvre is one of Canada's top dancesport trainers. Her classical ballet training lead her to the world of ballroom dancing
and in 1997 she opened what came to be one of Canada's premier dancesport facilities.
In 1999, she teamed up with North American Latin Champion, Martin Lefebvre. Together they competed
for Canada for six years and in 2003 they represented Canada at the World Professional Latin Championships in Innsbruck, Austria.
In 2004 after an injury, Diana retired from competition and in 2006 married Martin and sold her studio. She now devotes her
time between motherhood, training her youth dancesport team, judging and managing her expanding fitness company, BURLESQUERCISE.
Diana is largely responsible for facilitating Alberta's booming ballroom scene. Since 1999, after starting Alberta's first
dancesport kids program, already 4 of her youth couples have been invited to represent Canada at various World Championships.
A most recent highlight is of course is Anthony Grafton making it to the Top 18 in So You Think You Can Dance Canada (SYTYCD).
Known as a knowledgeable and entertaining instructor, Diana's greatest talent is her ability to connect and build confidence within
people.
