Joey Braunwarth: Hip Hop Instructor Joey Braunwarth's training began at age of 3 in his mom's Dance studio in Airdrie AB and continued until the age of 10. After moving to Calgary in 1998, Joey danced recreationally and pursued sports more seriously. As the universe had it, Joey found himself attending Central Memorial School for Performing Art's and rediscovered his love for dance in grade 10. In his final year at Central Joey received a scholarship from Decidedly Jazz Danceworks where he trained in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, African, Swing, Funk, Modern & Latin. He co-founded the Hip Hop Crew IllFX with Edgar Gilbert Reyes (So You Think You Can Dance Canada Top 10 competitor in 2010) and has opened up for artists such as MC Hammer, Boyz 2 Men, Girlicious and Sean Kingston. Joey's dream is to be a musician, he is currently working on his debut Mixtape which will be released in the new year. Dance is a very big part of that dream and he's excited to share his love and knowledge of Hip Hop!
