Martin Lefebvre : Teacher and Judge

Montreal native, Martin Lefebvre is one of Canada;s most popular dancesport trainers. Dancing since the age of 9, Quebec's golden boy has had a successful and colorful career.

Some of Martin's titles include:
2 time Canadian Youth Amateur Latin Champion,
2 time Canadian Amatuer Latin Champion and
2 time North American Amatuer Champion.
Martin has also represented Canada 4 times at various World Championships.

In 1999, Martin moved to Calgary to dance professionally with Diana Lefebvre. Together they owned one of Canada's largest dancesport facilities and also competed for 6 years in the latin division. In 2004, they retired from competition and in 2006 got married and sold their studio.

Martin now devotes his time to training his competitive team, judging and of course enjoying the birth of his baby girl, Bianca.

Martin is largely responsible for kick-starting ballroom dancing for kids in Alberta. Under his direction, already 4 youth couples have been invited to represent Canada at various World Championships. His most recent accomplishment is Anthony Grafton making it to the top 18 in So You Think You Can Dance(SYTYCD) Canada. His enthusiastic personality is known for getting the best out of everyone with a great sense of fun and humor.
